EOR vs entity

EOR convenience has a break-even point

An employer of record can be a useful bridge when you need to hire quickly before creating a local employer. It is not automatically the best long-term model. The break-even point depends on headcount, duration, worker seniority, control, risk tolerance, and whether the role creates local substance anyway.

Question EOR leans better Local entity leans better
Duration Short pilot or uncertain headcount. Permanent team or multi-role plan.
Control Limited integration and low authority. Core operational role or customer authority.
Cost One employee for a limited period. Several employees or long horizon.
Risk You need local payroll quickly. You need clean governance and substance.

EOR can simplify employment administration. It does not automatically solve VAT, permanent establishment, or management-location questions.
